HELP!!  We've just done a mad thing. We hope it's a brilliantly mad thing that may be the making of Happy City as a whole project - but we're going to need every ounce of support you can give....

We've just agreed, with 21 days to go from today, to organise the activities in the amphitheatre area of Bristol's harbourside for the Harbour Festival - Bristol's biggest festival event of the year.    We think we can do it by turning the organising of the event into an event of it's own - the idea is to celebrate the power of crowd sourcing and the thriving nature of Bristol's incredible community enterprise scene.  The Amphitheatre will become a low cost, high community glimpse of the future, where we'll show what a 'Happy City' will look like by providing space for inspiring people and projects to make Bristol's own brand of prosperity an example to the rest of the world...

If you're interested in helping us prove that people power can achieve near miraculous feats, don't delay - come and see us in the mighty nerve centre of happiness at our NEW OFFICES at 77 Stokes Croft.  Just walk into the DHS shop at the corner of Jamaica Street and flit up the stairs to find us on the first floor.   If you'd rather find out a bit more first, call Mike on 07836 706978.

Sustainability is a really important part of happiness and being happy needn't cost the Earth. We have just one Spot today, but what a spot...  Spot the result THIS EVENING at around 8.30pm, when we'll hear if Bristol will be named Europe's Green Capital in 2014.  To be amongst the first to know, watch @bgreencapital on twitter...
