Today, we’re inviting Bristol based business’ to give community wellbeing a lift. By taking up a ‘one for two’ offer for our Wellbeing Workout on Wednesday, July 26, you can boost your own organisations’ resilience while supporting an unsung local community hero at the same time!
As research out this week shows, up to one in three UK workers are struggling with their wellbeing, if that includes you, it’s important to know you are not alone. It is also vitally important to know that there are ways we can all learn to help improve our resilience and deal with these common issues whenever they surface. In our Wellbeing Workout training participants can learn wellbeing insights that will benefit you, your team and your business for the long term.
At the same time you can help the brilliant unsung heroes in our community who are under increasing pressure to help more and more people as their funding drains away. They need help themselves, and this wellbeing investment will help them cope with whatever gets thrown in their way – for the rest of their lives. It’s the best way we can think of showing our appreciation for what they do, as well as being an investment that will keep repaying all of us in the community for years to come.
The workshop gives insights into current levels of wellbeing and a handful of simple practical tools which people can start using right away.
We’ll focus on what people already have, building on their strengths so they can keep on going, managing the stresses better day-to-day. These skills are of course just as useful in business as they are in the community, or at home – so it makes good business sense to sponsor. You can feel good about making a difference for a community worker at the sharp end of improving lives in Bristol at the same time as investing in the wellbeing of your team and business for the long term.
Business’ can sponsor an unsung hero of their choice, or we’ll nominate from our existing lists. The Wellbeing Workout takes place on 26th July from 9-5 – more detail about the workshop is here. Sponsors will of course get feedback about who they’ve helped and what difference it’s made after the event.
