What's it's purpose:
Free Cakes for Kids is a community service to families who find it difficult to provide a birthday cake for their child. The cakes are baked by volunteers from your community with your kid’s favourite theme or style. Free, friendly and confidential.

At the heart of every Free Cakes for Kids group are individual birthday cakes.  Put simply, a Free Cakes for Kids group matches two parties: amateur bakers and families in need.  Families contact the group either directly by phone or are referred by  a partner  organisation, such as the Young  Carers, the local Foodbank, or a children’s centre.  The cakes are then prepared by volunteers in their private kitchens and are decorated with the child’s favourite  theme.

What's it's purpose:
To celebrate African and Caribbean Culture, History and Future. This is to help in us all having a greater understanding of ourselves, who we are, How beautiful we are, and our role in relation to the community as a whole. Even more important the understand what makes them unique, but also what makes them the same with the rest of the communtiy. From this understanding and realisation the communities can better relate, better engage and ultimately Unite.

Afrinique has three strands.

The Website- This will be launched Late October and will be a portal for everything African. It will contain information to the Cultural traditions of over 20 African Caribbean Tribes. Country information, Tourist information should you wish to visit a number of countries. Events listings, News and a Directory.

What's it's purpose:
It is to bring communities togather and enjoy, repsetc diversity,[erforming arts, cultures of a multi racial and multi faith and multi cultural city of bristol and forget thier differences and be positive and creative and draw on community strength.Indeed,Bristol has suffered riots in St.Paul and recently in Stokes Croft- a symptom of divided city of haves ,havenots, disenfranchised and marginalised as well as a city tainted with slavery, cancer causing tobbaco .hence, the project helps to heal divisions and envy, hate and prejudice and over come racism, sexism, facism and make the city a swell place for one and all with business, commerce and jobs created by ethical tourism, multi cultural vibrancy and events.

It promotes beautifull architecture -fusion of east and west and outshines Sydney Opera House being an iconic building with fusion of east and west architecture.

It brings people togather to celebrate diverse events and festivals eg Diwlai,Idd,chinese new years ,st.patricks day,Ahimsa day-non violence and non agression day celebrating Ghandjis birthday, world farm day and St.Francis of assissi day.
